Greetings, I've recently gone from an AVR as a preamp and an Adcom amp to an Arcam SA-20 integrated amp. The AVR was the weak link but I also miss having the crossover function in the AVR. Speakers are B&W CM5 and an SVS sub. My speakers sound best crossing them over at 80Hz. I've got the sub dialed in but would like to address getting some of the bass off the speakers and on to the sub. I've been looking at high pass filters, passive crossover, active crossover, but I'm not sure what I need. I can still return the amp and get a Parasound w/built in crossover but I'd rather not. Any suggestions?
