Re: On Banning Ourselves

Lamont, real men don't wear Depends. They just piss whenever they feel the urge, no matter what they're wearing, and no matter who's watching, smelling, or critiquing. I am one of those.

Tomjtx (or is that you, DUP? Naahh -- nary a "teh" in sight. Still, there is always spell-check, I suppose...), I didn't know you were such a yes-man.

And, yes, I am going fishing. Gonna rent a condo in Mammoth Lakes (like all the other yuppies who eschew bears, frozen and unfrozen dirt, and 35-degree chill at the campsite), hit the East Walker with my 2 fly rods (one rigged for wet, and one for dry), and hit Upper and Lower Twin Lakes (and Convict Lake) with my worms, Power Bait, Rapalas, salmon-eggs, and a case o'beer. Gonna walk the East Walker 'til my ankles and hams get sore, then snooze in the Sierrra sun, on the rocks that surround the lakes, line in water, 'til they feel better.

And what the hell would you know about that, Mr. "I-agree-on-any-vague-precept-that-I-didn't-have-to-think-up-myself"?

Yeah. In fact, he pissed while he was typing that.

Clifton is the Chuck Norris of pissing. Where he pisses is YOUR problem, not his.

Once, he pissed on another guy who was already pissing, just for the Hell of it.

Clifton is the king of water sports.

At least a got a response out of you. Now, get back to your water sports. Fishing & Pissing.

I also wish to apologize to group for informing them you died when somebody posted they hadn't seen you around the board in some time.

Buddha, it's about time I got some cred. I appreciate the nod.

Lamont, for somebody who doesn't even know how to spell "bastard," you're getting pretty frisky, declaring me prematurely dead, just because I'm a mere 118 years old. I promise you that I will piss on your grave.

Hmph.

Your idea of a fishing trip, no doubt, is a quest for Deliverance. Watch out for the guy with the banjo, 'cause he ain't got pissin' on HIS mind.

You're not going fishing. You're going to change your Depends and watch Law & Order. You've always been a prima donna here. I'm sort of glad you're "no longer interested". You ran out of things to talk about years ago. You're the one that is boring.

The older you get, the quicker you recognize the crap in other people..and how to balance out what you are dealing with. Thus the faster you are to slap leather, and do whatever needs be done.

I most certainly appreciate Clifton for that sort of thing.

Some of you just fail to recognize what it is -that he is doing......

Je piss, donc je suis.

Choose your own reality base. And what the fuck is "Law and Order"? I'll just bet that, whatever it is, you could explain it to me very well...

Happy tunes.

As usual, Scott is fantasizing. I not banned from any conference any place. I regularly post to a number of moderated forums.

Sad that Scott is so unware of his delusions that he can't see that they constitute trouble-making.

He's safe here though - I've never seen anybody banned for repeatedly telling lies that favor the house.

Yup, gratuitous insults aren't trouble making, according to this poster.

Your "as usual," Mr. Krueger, reveals the kind of behavior that was being referred to.

True, as far as it goes. But you _were_ banned for several years from posting to the moderated rec.audi0.high-end forum. You were only relatively recently allowed back in.

Ok, that was the "as usual" Kreuger-speak lie. Now comes the truth. Which is that you've been banned from many forums and groups throughout your career, because all you ever did on them was make enemies and disrupt the entire group. I certainly haven't kept up with all the forums and groups you've been banned from throughout your "career". But I instantly found one thread elsewhere, in which people are discussing this very issue of you being banned from so many places.

From the thread "Arny Gets Banned"....

Iain Churches wrote:

I am a guest on two closed forums to which Mr.K is specifically denied access due to his odious maner.

He is referring to a group of audio professionals (which included BBC engineers) that had banned you. As Iain writes: "People are usually denied access to closed professional groups because they do not yet have the qualifications or experience required to participate. This is usually a transitory phase with guest status granted later. One is normally proposed and then seconded by two other estanblished members. I understand that Arny's exclusion is unconditional."

Here was your reply to him:

Maner? I don't have a mane! It would only matter to me if I actually wanted to conference there. So no Iain, I couldn't care less if the Senile Dementia Has-Been Recording Engineer and Adult Day Care Institute doesn't want me to visit.

So you actually admitted you were booted off of a forum of "has been recording engineers". Which was not the RAHE group. Which means you're lying to all of us again on this forum, in the light of day (in case I have to spell that out for you). I guess your bitterness here from them having banned you is tempered by the fact that you're not even a "has-been recording engineer". More like a "never-was wanna-be recording engineer". Or audio engineer, for that matter. I note that you also refer here, in messages from one year ago, to participating in audio forums as "conferencing". So much for those here who interpreted your term in the manner it is supposed to be used; ie. attending actual conferences. Which would normally mean you'd have to walk out of your house and away from your computer on at least one occasion, and usually, out of town. No kidding I thought it was odd when you seemed to suggest that you attend "conferences". So that makes me wonder... when your wife calls you for supper and you are, as usual, fervently hacking away at your keyboard, hurling abuse at people on the internet audio forums... do you respond with "Don't bother me, I'm in a meeting!"?.

Here's more of how that discussion went, to refresh your failing memory, and inability to get your "stories" straight from forum to forum. Bill explains their decision:

But can you imagine: a forum consisting largely of real, professional recording engineers and others associated with sound reproduction. Into this Arnii Krooborg descends like a plague and begins the "Debating Trade" in earnest. I think it wouldn't take too long for the owners of said forum to ban him for life.

It's even sweeter on the closed forums to which Mr K is specifically denied access.

So it appears Arny that when you're not making false accusations of kiddie porn on unmoderated groups, or getting your ass canned from moderated groups, you're all about the Benjamins:

Shhh wrote:

It's just a matter of paying me enough.
So far, nobody has offered me any cash to leave.

So there you have it. After 14 years or so, after having thoroughly destroyed any possibility of productive discussion on RAO, Arny finally got offered enough cash to leave the group. The question now is, how much is it going to take for Arny to leave Stereophile? I'll tell you what Krueger. I'll pass the hat around and take up a collection and offer you cash to leave (since you obviously have no other valid reason for remaining here). I'm sure to get enough interest, that you'll be able to buy yourself a shiny new ball gag. Think about it, we'll confer later.

Hello Arny.
Please read your PMs and let me know if you have any questions. Basically, I'm having a very difficult time finding anything worthwhile or valuable in your posts here in our forum. On the other hand, I can point to many examples where you show disrespectful, childish behavior in what appear to be calculated attempts to mislead. If this behavior continues, we will be very happy to disable your account.
