B&W HTM2D Diamond center channel

I'm looking at a B&W HTM2D on eBay and am wondering how much it is worth. It is at $500 right now and the auction says it sells for $4000!! I looked it up on the B&W site and it looks really awesome but want to make sure before I bid on it. What is a good price for these?? Please respond if you have any input about it.

If you get it for 3000USD i would say you had a good deal.
Don't know the store price in US but here in Sweden you'll get a new unit for 4700USD

I saw your post had a picture of a B&W Nautilus mid range. Do you own the N800's? I just purchased a pair of N800D's. Even breaking in they are spectacular .... even compared to the N801's I traded for them after six years.

I recently purchased a group of Opus 3 SACDs from Sweden. The sound is spectacular. Audiophiles are alive and well in Sweden. Great job!
