considering the source material you listen to it won't make any difference whether it's an AVR or separates. I'd go with a Denon AVR, and don't pay more than maybe 600.00. Bluetooth and MP3 and wifi won't "sound better" with expensive separates. They'll just sound the same.

Hello bierfeldt. Just wanted to let you know that I decided to purchase Denon AVR-X3300W (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9x5uhXRcaBl/p_033AVX3300/Denon-AVR-X3300W-IN-Command.html). I managed to get it for $539, which makes my wallet really happy. It has minimum impedance listed as 4 ohms also. While it does not support things like aptX codec or asynchronous USB B, I think it be sufficient for now for listening to mp3 and FLAC via WiFi.
