Your system never works right when you have guests in for a demo.

Sooner or later you will discover that your pre-amp does not have enough inputs.

I'll add: Your system is only as good as its ability to play your worst recording.

But I'm borrowing that one from Michael Lavorgna, who borrowed it from Peter Qvortrop.

Your reference for sound quality is only as good as the best system you have heard.

For me it's been: Just when my system sounds the best it's ever been, I have half the time to listen to it!

Make sure to smoke after the the computer based video projection system is running the DVD or BluRay disc. For if you fail to have a smooth running system and computer problems occur..well..lets just say that linear thinking may not be your strong suit at that given time. This has aspects of surround sound, it counts. If problems have erupted then the system can be used to play stereoscopic tunes while you spend a fruitless amount of time attempting to figure out how to be linear minded again - if just for a few seconds.

Sound perceived is sound heard.
