Generally speaking, it is best to use the center channel designed for the matching monitors as these will be as closely timbre or voiced matched as possible. Do not underestimate the value of a good, or slighter better center channel speaker. Both dialog and music, in particular vocals will benefit from a well matched center channel speaker. You will only begin to notice this in the long run as you start to live with the speaker.
