I just click the "view post now" (or whatever it says) button.
I went into the control panel, but I don't see an option for disabling this feature.
Just click on "Main Index" at the top of the page and you're sent back to the index page. You don't have to wait for the mechanics of the system to take you anywhere. It's no more work. If you are posting a reply, how many times do you want to go back to the same thread anyway?
but what is the point of asking?? just take me there already. that is damned annoying. it is just an unnecessary step, that is all. it should be streamlined.
so...obviously nooone wants to go back to the thread they just replied on...so nix that and AUTOMATICALLY take me to the top or AUTOMATICALLY take me to the thread i just posted in OR better yet, the sub-forum that contains that thread. as it is it is just clunky.
Yea, nc, this goes down as one of the world's worst miseries. Like polio or the DMV. I hope we can get through this setback and go on living fuller lives.
Most of the time I don't want to go see the post I just wrote- been there. I almost always use Go Back to Forum to check other threads out, or go read Stephen's latest.

You know of other forums that work the way you want, go there and stay there. Your bitchin' is very old and quite tiring.
I've tried to help you out when you can't figure out the complexities of something simple enough for a child to operate. I haven't given you one reason to continue this BS of yours but you keep it up just to try to stir something up. Now you want to be a PITA because you just don't want to add one click to your routine. Somebody ribs you a bit over something inconsequential and you get pissy. You have no sense of humor about yourself or anything else for that matter. Why don't you just grow up, ncdrawl. And you can figure the rest of this shit out by yourself, I'm really tired of your BS.
No need to get all bent out of shape about this, guys. I don't mind hearing opinions on how the forum operates. I'm happy to look into making changes when changes are possible. No big deal.
