Dynaudio Excite x12 still the $2k reference?

As long as you enjoy the Dyn sound? I'm looking for a great match for my Wadia 151 PowerDAC. Maybe the Linn 109s...?

Thoughts?

It's 2022. This post is strangely apposite. I auditioned the Dynaudio X14's on special - but I couldn't get the realism of the Linn Majik 109's out of my head - the Dynaudio's sounded very contrived in comparison. So I went old school and picked up the Linns (which are still in production!!)
