bluetooth dongle earbuds compatible

I need to know if the codec of the dongle and bluetooth earbuds have to match.

using on windows 7.ear buds im looking at:

SoundPEATS sonic which supports BC, aptX, aptX-Adaptive
Edifier TWS1 PRO supports aptX-Adaptive , aptX HD and aptX Low Latency audio

dongles im looking at :

tp-link UB500
techkey 5.0
eveo 5.0

they dont specify which codec is supported

Hi, in general it should work fine. However, in reality you can face serious problems. For tp link and techkey dongles there are many problems reported in internet communities concerning inadequate or old software drivers. So you can jump into cold water or buy a more developed solution. For the last case you have to spend of course a little bit more than 50 bucks.
