If you're an ES-line diehard, "Sony plans to have the UBP-X1000ES certified with Control4, Crestron, and other home control and automation companies when it becomes available as an exclusive to the custom installer channel in spring 2017..."

However, there's no need to wait for Sony to market a unit since the Oppo BDP-105D meets your stated requirements:

Also note that the Oppo has an ESS SABRE32 Reference DAC.
no, I don't like those combo player, they are not refined enough, and to change anything, you have to hook up the player to a LCD panel. The CD player is in my stereo room. The reason I ask is, if there is no replacement to the 5400ES, then I don't know how the price of the 5400ES going to be, higher or lower?
I can honestly say that until now, I've never heard anyone refer to the Oppo as "not refined enough" - I suppose there's a first for everything.
For starters, have a look at these options:

Curious to hear about what you end up purchasing.

Not Refined Enough???
That is ridiculous. The CD/SACD sound quality of the OPPO DBP-105 blows the 5400 away; no comparison. The same is true of the Marantz UD7007.
I had a 5400ES for many years, and I replaced it with the Ayre C5xe, which sounded significantly better, and then I replaced that with the Oppo BDP-105, which was better-sounding than the Ayre, both for CDs and SACDs.
You can "change" anything you want with the OPPO remote; you don't need an LCD display as you stated.
I do have one gripe with the OPPO, though; the display is hard to see from across the room, so I usually turn on my TV and it displays everything there.
The Marantz UD7007 is also excellent, and has a much better display that can be seen from across the room. That might be your best bet.
The Marantz UD7007 is currently for sale for $899 on Amazon. If you think the 5400 sounded good, this is guaranteed to sound significantly better.

The new Sony UHP-H1 player, at $349, is apparently nothing for an audiophile to get excited about. I just read the article, and it sounds like it is OK for $349, and that is about it.
In 2017, it is going to be great to have an opportunity to buy a new Sony ES spinner.
Contemplating picking up a used Sony SCD XA5400ES SACD player, but concerned that the laser might go out and I might be stuck with a brick. Aftermarket laser assemblies are available, but wondering how difficult it is to replace the laser assembly on this unit.vidmate app save insta
