The truth is, I haven't listened to music or anything else through headphones in decades. Just not my thing. I also don't much care for "a V shaped sound signature". My preference is and has always been for listening to music flat out or, in other words, as accurate and faithful to what's on the recording(s) as possible without sounding too accurate or too sterile. So, a little warmth would be OK. IMHO, tone controls exist only to correct poor recordings and/or tailor sound to individual preferences. Be that as it may, I do occasionally pick up various headphones on display for demo purposes in stores & shops that I visit just to keep up with the latest stuff. There are, obviously, a plethora of fine choices out there to suit everyone's tastes. The best advice anyone can give you is to go hear a bunch on equipment as similar to your own as possible. Your ears will tell you what sounds best to you. As for my ears, I've always much preferred Seenheiser.
get a sony headphone
At your budget, check out the Focal Clear open back cans
I would definitely take Bose.
Are there any more cost-effective headphones
