Hey there,
I am a current owner of a new Linn LP12 Klimax TT with all Linn Urika phonostage, Radikal PSU, Ekos SE tonearm, Kandid mc cartridge, Trampolin base board, etc. I live in Seattle, WA. Definitive Audio in Seattle is the only Linn dealer here, that's where I bought my Linn LP12 from. However, Hawthorne Stereo here in Seattle does restore and service older vintage Linn LP12 TT. Their phone # : 206-522-9609. Give them a call. They specialize in restoring and servicing older vintage Linn LP12 TT. They get all the original parts from Linn for your Linn LP12.
That would be the only way you can get your LP12 restored, serviced. Linn does not have a US or North American division HQ.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info!

I realize that Linn doesn't have much presence here. I was hoping to purchase parts online (or over the phone), and attempt to do the work myself.

I'm in New York City, if anyone has any people east cost they like?

I'm sure there are Linn dealers there in New York and the east coast. Go to Linn.co.uk and click on dealers worldwide and choose USA and then it will let you choose the state you are in.
I suggest that you wouldn't do it yourself, I would have a certified Linn service repair or Linn dealer do it for you. Linn LP12 is not that easy and simple to assemble and repair if you aren't Linn certified technician repair. Even not all Linn dealers are certified and capable to service and repair and restore the LP12 and other Linn products.

BJK...You may try Accent on Music in Mt Kisco NY... www.accenthifi.com They have been pretty helpful in the past. Also call UK dealers direct as they will supply. You will find that even with shipping from the UK some prices are much better than US dealer prices. Also don't be intimidated by the LP12 and do the restore yourself. Loads of good info out there from reputable long standing Linn techs like Alan Williams and Peter Swain at Cymbiosis. With respect to caphill, whose system I would guess is $25 000 upwards, your system is an entry level deck needing some upgrades. What I like about the LP12 is it's simplicity and basic engineering, unlike the classic Thorens or Garrards. In my opinion there is way too much hype about setting up the LP12 when in fact it's just common sense. Get it straight and level, install new springs and grommets, and ensure the top plate is secure without over tightening, clean and flush the bearing and you're half way there. And you dont have to pay $3000 and more per gallon for oil... you will get over 700 5ml vials of oil from one gallon...and these guys charge upwards of $7 per 5 ml...go figure!!!
I have been using Zoom Spout oiler - High quality turbine oil by Norvey without a single issue on all variations of Linn bearings ...contains no detergents. Costs about $5 from Ace Hardware.
And remember to top up the bearing EVERY TIME you remove the platter.
Good luck
