Turntable arm for Goldring Legacy

Dear music friends,
Can you advise me an arm for the Legacy? At the moment it's on a Thorens TD124 MKII with an old SME3009-2Improved, with attachable headshell. This combination doens't average sound as good as my Weiss Dac2!?
The phono amp is a Sphinx and would cost now about € 2000,00
Buy the way, I am a professionel musician.

A wire from the chassis to the phono amp did a great job. The quality of the sound is a few times better now.
