Old post but still someone might find interest. Technically and sonically I think the 1sc are by way better but it depends on your amp. They may sound dull with some amps compared to the epos and they have majorly different sound presentations. The 1sc in the right set up are stunning, but the m16i are pretty good too with the right amps.
