I'm a car guy, too. I had five count em Alfas in a row.

How does the car stereo sound?

And the most important question: can you tweak the car stereo?

I haven't done a lot of listening to music in it yet since the sound of the engine as I'm banging thru the gears pretty much trumps any music there could possibly be, but it has a lot of digital music options that I'm not very familiar with yet.
Interestingly, it has no provisions at all for traditional physical medium like CD. I guess that stuff is a thing of the past. All of it's audio technology is about streaming and I-phone and a bunch of other wireless digital stuff that I'm too old and dumb to properly appreciate.
But the system in it does sound excellent. It has six speakers and 220 watts and FM stereo (don't laugh), sounds awesome.
Back in the day I drag raced at Union Grove, Wis. I drove a Ford Torino with a 428 like the one in "Gran Torino".
It could turn low 13's on a good day. With slicks.

In an ideal world I would buy a new 2016 Mustang GT350R that comes sans radio or stereo system one assumes as a weight saving ploy but I'd install a casette player immediatley upon receipt of the GT350R. I already know the ins and outs of how to tweak a car for best sound based on my experience with all those Alfas. Let's hear it for the flat crankshaft.

It's an all new engine. 526 HP, carbon fiber wheels. The crankshaft is a flat profile type somewhat similar to what Ferarri employs.

Congrats on the new wheels David. We enjoy the car hobby as well. Use to be mostly Benz & BMW but went American old and new school for our show cars.

Love Mustangs! Here's some pics of the company Shelby http://tuneland.techno-zone.net/t289-get-tuned-videos-lights-camera-action

Since words can sometimes fail to describe what certain cars sound like and drive like here's a YouTube video of a Mustang GT350R test drive by a somewhat enthusiastic driver. TuneLand might wish to consider upgrading the Shelby.

I keep looking for a car that is better than my 2009 Corvette, but haven't found it yet.

0 to 100 MPH in 9.6 seconds (per Car & Driver test), handles like on rails, rides nice, gets 20 MPG. A comfortable all-round car that acts like a race car when you are in the mood. 190 MPH top speed (per Car and Driver; never got over 150 personally, but it wants to go faster).

I don't even like the styling or seats in the new ones as well (plus mine has much better cargo space...for golf clubs etc.).

Every high-performance Mustang or BMW I have ever driven feels like an overweight crude piece of junk by comparison.

Alfas are great cars.

The new Giulia Quadrifoglio looks like a car one could get serious about.

Lancia is another car I have always been impressed by.
