As long as you keep promoting the tune, it really doesn't matter how you choose to troll this and other threads. Listeners are visiting Tuneland and finding that the element of trolling doesn't exist in our house. What visitors find are serious top of the line listeners and systems that welcome others to explore as they have.

It's weird that Stereophile doesn't have the monderation to throw you out, but I think it's only a matter of time before they fold this forum for lack of interest, or JA retires and someone else gives it a go. I like JA, but any forum that doesn't put an end to internet trolling looses credibility. This forum and industry is suffering greatly because of the acts that you and others do to undermind the class the magazine once had.
How you bend it is no concern of mine. I actually encourage people to visit your site so they can see your agenda and reputation. I think the members here should go even further, and read who they are talking to based on other forums.

The members here for some reason still engage with a guy who himself is proud of making the claims of being an internet troll.
Do they not know that geoff has not been apart of high end audio himself as participating "doer" for at least 9 years. All the members need to do is read a few of his past trolls to see he has no desire to be part of the community more than trolling. The one claim to fame geoff has is claiming to be an effective internet troll, which makes me crack up some to see members here exchanging with him as if he is part of a community that has from the beginning called him out for fraud, snake oil, and audio trolling.
Audiophiles are leaving this forum by the scores in search of credibility, which Stereophile once had on these pages.
If the audiophile wants to stay in a state of not understanding what they are listening to, they have certainly arrived at the forum who feeds this opinion more than any other. The two biggest pushers of "I don't know" live on the Stereophile forum and even when watching the audiophiles packing up their tents and moving on, Stereophile is not willing to step in and at least set the bar of class, which we have been asking for, for years. Maybe when the last man is standing here while the rest of the music world has soared to new heights, we will be able to look back to what Stereophile was, once.
Stereophile was once the starting place for the high end audio movement. Two guys gave birth to going beyond the norm. It's sad to see listeners leaving because Stereophile won't once again set the bar.
I still have faith, do you?

As members have been pointing out, the answers are pretty clear.
New readers to the forum, if your wondering why not many people come here to post anymore, this forum has been internet trolled to death.
"In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."
The post above is an example of this, but you should look at the referencing for yourselves at what the industry says about geoff kait. Keep in mind I've only become aware of these trolls since visiting the stereophile forum myself, starting about 2 years ago. With my first couple of posts the trolling from geoff and May began. I have seen many come and go because of them.
As suggested by members here, go to any search engine and type in geoff kait. For example here's google https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=geoff+kait
Read through a few of these and you can judge for yourselves.

As regards trolls, you can't seem to get it through your thick but well groomed head that someone who posts defammatory information or posts links to defammatory comments or discussion on the Internet is a TROLL. So stop being such a pig headed hypocrite.

Why do these threads always go up in flames?
IMO there's no such thing as a "mystery". Never was. What made us invent that specific phrase in the first place, is nothing other than our lack of knowledge and understanding. We might as well admit it right away: We'll never ever gain sufficient knowledge/understanding/insight with anything as complicated as soundwaves travelling through air and into the no less complicated mechanisms inside our ears and further on into our very complicated brains.
I mean, it's fine that we TRY to understand, and experiment with all sorts of gadgets and mumbo-jumbo, to further improve what we're hearing. But some of it is bound to remain mumbo-jumbo, while another part of it might just have an explanation, even though we may never learn why. As long as it makes you believe the resulting soundwaves makes you FEEL better, I'd say it's allright.
I don't recall having had positive results from gels, magical stickers, or any of the "mysterious" gadgets on the market, But I HAVE had very positive results experimenting with, and applying vibration damping, isolating different cable types from other types, inventing, building and applying mechanical "air brakes" inside my speaker cabinets to make their response quicker and dryer. I have also had great results from trying different cables and interconnects. I know zilch about electricity, except it always travels towards the lesser resistance, but don't all phenomena? So, my tweaks are all mechanical in nature, but I have no problem with neither Geoff's or May's and Peter's attitudes, nor their beliefs or experiments. But since I don't believe in them myself, I've had no need to tell them so (uh-oh, there it went!), well, at least not until now.
As some of you have already stated, we're all unique, and that goes for our tastes, musical and otherwise, our habits, our preferences, our physical and psychic states, and also our setups at home. So will someone please tell me, why we haven't yet acknowledged that no two phenomena are alike, and thus no two experiences will ever be the same either.
Nothing is rotten in the state of Denmark (I actually live there)
