Now, there's been a lot of speculation that the Teleportation Tweak involves sending subliminal messages over the phone - which actually isn't a bad idea lol ..."you are getting sleepy and your system sounds just like a really really good system..." or sending audible tones over the phone, akin to the demag tracks of the XLO Test CD. But those are not true and much too mundane, anyway. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to give away some of the "tricks" involved with the Teleportation Tweak. Watch this space. I will be running around doing a bunch of things today so will be filling in the blanks on the fly.

1. The problem. Yes, it's our old friends, Information Fields. Let's start with the hypothesis that information itself produces detrimental information fields and that those things that bring that information into the house, that are essentially the LINKS to the outside world, are also detrimental to the sound. Thus, TVs, computers, cell phones, as well as LPs, CDs, DVDs, Blu Ray discs, cassettes, I.e., all music media also produce detrimental info fields. So, while it's nice to collect these things and have them all nicely arranged on the shelf the more you have the worse the sound gets. It's a scientific fact. You're just not aware of the degradation of the sound because it happens over a long period of time - and even if you were clued into the degradation who would suspect the CDs, right? But I digress.

Going forward with the hypothesis the phone is a conduit for information, that provides a link to the outside world. To people and the entire World Wide Web. Of course, phones of all types, like TVs and 'puters are something we've always had so even if it did degrade the sound we'd never notice it, right? Same goes for info fields, we don't know what the sound is like WITHOUT them since they've always been there.

TBD

2. The solution. The Information Field MUST be attenuated! So, not w have a hypothesis that it's the stupid cell phone that's causing all the trouble. Lord help you if you have more than one phone cause if you have two or mor phones you're totally screwed. It's like the Army slogan, Be All You Can Be. So now we ID'd the perp as the cell phone or LAND LINE phone, so what are we going to do about it. How do you affect info fields, especially from a distance of 10,000 miles? And in 20 seconds?

TBD

3. How can the Information Field be attenuated from 10,000 miles away?!

The information field, the ONE associated with the PHONE ITSELF, is attenuated by the transfer range of information at the atomic level regarding the physical phone so that the link created by the phone to the outside world is cut or at least attenuated. It's a little like changing the properties of matter. And the changing of the properties of matter is achieved by quantum teleportation. In other words it's not the matter itself that's being teleported, it's INFORMATION ABOUT THE MATTER that's being teleported. Thus, the Teleporation Tweak will work from one room to the next or from one house to a house down the street or from one house in Virginia to a house in Australia or Emgland.

4. Why is the Teleportation Tweak permanent?

TBD

5. What does the Teleportation Tweak sound like?

By attenuating the Sonically deleterious effects of the particular Information Field SsociTed with the cell phone or land line phone the sound in the room becomes much closer to the sound that you would hear in an ideal world, I.e., a world without such subconscious interference that reduce the listener's sensory perception acuity. Thus, after the Teleportation Tweak is performed the listener can more easily hear the complete and undistorted sound that his system is FULLY CAPABLE OF PRODUCING. In other words, the SOUND WAS IN THE ROOM THE WHOLE TIME. He just couldn't fully appreciate how excellent the sound was since his hearing ability had always been not what he assumed it was. Thus, the sound will be more open, more dynamic, less distorted Nd have more AIR. The degree to which that statement is true depends on a lot of things, all the usual suspects like how resolving the system in question is, the hearing skill as it were of the listener AND how many untreated phones remain in the house.

6. How fast does the Quantum Wave travel? The speed of light is the speed of most telecommunications systems, satellite, land line, microwave or even a combination of different transmission media. So when you are on the other end of the phone connection and you hear me Clicking In the sound is already better and if you happen to be listening to the system as the Teleportation Tweak is being performed you would hear the effects right away. Some people prefer not to hold their ear up to the phone while I'm Clicking In, which is perfectly understandable. :-)

It's quite difficult to say whether the information that we're talking about here, the quantum type information, whether it's the electron spin or something else, gets transmitted over the phone line the same way voice is transmitted - as an electromagnetic wave, at the speed of light, well, depending on the medium through which the wave travels, right? So if it was via satellite it would be the speed of light, but if my land line or undersea cable some large fraction of the speed of light. OR the information may be transmitted INSTANTANEOUSLY. Either way, it's essentially instantaneously.

7. The Einstein thought experiment.

Since the early twentieth century, quantum mechanics has posed new challenges for the view that physical processes should obey locality. Whether quantum entanglement counts as action-at-a-distance hinges on the nature of the wave function and decoherence, issues over which there is still considerable debate among scientists and philosophers. One important line of debate originated with Einstein, who challenged the idea that quantum mechanics offers a complete description of reality, along with Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen. They proposed a thought experiment involving an entangled pair of observables with non-commuting operators (e.g. position and momentum).[5]

This thought experiment, which came to be known as the EPR paradox, hinges on the principle of locality. A common presentation of the paradox is as follows: two particles interact and fly off in opposite directions. Even when the particles are so far apart that any classical interaction would be impossible (see principle of locality), a measurement of one particle nonetheless determines the corresponding result of a measurement of the other.

4. Why is the Teleportation Tweak permanent?

The particular information field at the far end, the customer's end, the one associated with his phone is attenuated by changing the physical characteristics of the phone at his end. The effects are permanent unless the customer gets a new cell phone, then his sound would revert back to the original state, and he would have to have the Teleportation Tweak Re-done. I'm actually not sure if the effects are really permanent in the sense the effects NEVER go away. It would be quite an undertaking to actually demonstrate that the TT OR ANY TWEAK is permanent, you know! due to all the things that could occur to affect the sound over a long period of time, replacing cables, replacing tubes, replacing fuses, changing equipment, change in seasons, etc. I suspect it would actually be impossible.

Just added this new paragraph to the story of the Teleportation Tweak:

6. "Does the Teleportation Tweak improve the performance of the treated cell phone? I've gotten anecdotal reports of significant unexpected performance improvements for the customer's treated cell phone. One case was where the customer's new cell phone had poor reception in his house, around 2 bars, so he had to go outside in the yard, where reception was 4 bars, in order for me to do the Teleportation Tweak. After the Teleportation Tweak was complete he called back excitedly twenty minutes later to report that his reception was now 4 bars inside the house, even in the basement. I had another report from a customer in China who told me he could now use his cell phone in the elevator of his building whereas prior to the Teleportation Tweak he was unable to use it."

Added the following paragraph from Psychology Wiki to the explanation for the Teleportation Tweak:

From Psychology Wiki - According to this concept, the morphic field underlies the formation and behavior of holons and morphic units, and can be set up by the repetition of similar acts and/or thoughts. The hypothesis says that a particular form belonging to a certain group which has already established its (collective) morphic field, will tune into that morphic field. The particular form will read the collective information through the process of morphic resonance, using it to guide its own development. This development of the particular form will then provide, again through morphic resonance, a feedback to the morphic field of that group, thus strengthening it with its own experience resulting in new information being added (i.e. stored in the database).

1. Is the Teleportation Tweak affecting my phone or my audio system?
2. Since my listening room is in the basement, can I get the same results if I move the phone on the first floor and in a room opposite the listening area?
3. I have 8 (yes, eight) phones in my house. Do I have to get the tweak eight times, calling from each phone?
Please answer without ad hominem attacks!

1. The phone. The system doesn't have to be ON. You don''t have to be at home when you call.
2. The phones can be anywhere in the house. Doesn't matter. They will have the same effect on the sound no matter where they are located in the house. When you ask, can you get the same results, what are you referring to? The same results as what?
3. If the land line phones are on different numbers/exchanges you will have to treat them one by one. But treating only one phone will be an improvement over treating none. If land line phones are on the same number/exchange just take all phones off the hook before calling. Then you only have to call once.

The part about taking the other phones off the hook is still unclear (they're not connected to the landline when off the hook, only the "active"" phone is, i.e. the one I used to make the call). Obviously I can set up a "conference call" with all phones active, therefore whatever you send will be heard - ant thus effective - on all phones.

Some people have more than one telephone with the same telephone no., am pretty sure that only applies to land line phones. Most folks have a cellphone and maybe one land line or they have one cellphone and their significant other has a cell phone. In those cases the phones are treated separately.

Geoff, in my particular case there are 3 cellphones and 5 landline phones (on the same number). The problem is that 2 of those 5 are "regular" (corded) phones and the other 3 are DECT (cordless), so there is no hook to take them off from (they work mostly like a cellphone).

If two phones were on the same circuit/number I could do the TT simultaneously. Otherwise they need to be done one at a time. The Teleportation Tweak requires an active communications line. Just like you would in order to have a conversation. I give steep discounts for multiple phones anyway so it's kind of a non issue, really.

Just so there's no misunderstanding, I do not sell any of my products to regulars on these Stereophile forums. Nor do I provide or loan my products for testing, evaluation or any other purpose to regular members on these forums. Geoff hates misunderstandings. Misunderstandings and I clash.
