Im looking to buy, they seem to fit my needd. I just plug in directly and dont bother with an amp.

Although this is a headphone section for Stereophile, you should check out the Innerfidelity site, since nearly all of Stereophile's headphone activity and discussion is at Innerfidelity.

The Sennheiser HD-650 is in a totally different class from the OP's suggestion of the Urbanite. It's another good reason to check the reviews at Innerfidelity, to see what these 2 headphones are all about.
