Converted your .wav to FLAC.
Played the file before I read your comments.
The 1st section sounded a bit boxy.
Not a lot definition in the higher frequencies.
Just seemed like it was one step removed from the actual performance.
The 2nd section had a more life-like quality.
I hear the pick hitting the strings.
More timbrel detail.
More life.
But both sections sound V good relative to the Hi-Rez files I have in my library.
Really appreciate you sharing these!

Edit: Image is dead center, about four feet behind the front baffle of my speakers.
No real sense of the room.
More like the instrument was in my lap.
Not that the first wasn't very nice, but the second one showed your playing abilities quite a bit more. It almost sounded like two guitars playing...the way you were picking the high strings and strumming the low.
Nice playing...forget the recording job. I should have learned the guitar instead of the trumpet. lol
hello wkhanna,I was waiting for your comment.Neither of these two appear on any of my cds and this is the first time I have posted them anywhere, not for the sound or performance(yes that is me playing the guitars)but because of the length. While it sounds good compared to the typical mainstream recordings of today its not up to mine or your typical audiophile standards.I know I have another clock chimes recording somewhere I have to find it and post it.Im sorry I had to cut off one of the recordings,it had a beautiful decay but the phone rang.I attribute much of the boomyness to the poor mic placement, normally in a typical recording it doesnt matter because you fix it with some EQ, but these are purist recordings and are not touched.
I also posted this on a recording forum, and clearly this was way over their heads. For people who are use to artificial sound and layers of effects ,recordings like this are just too simple and dry for them to understand--the comments I was getting are priceless, I have to post a link to you , you'll get a good belly laugh!!Thanks again for commenting and pass the word Ill be posting more of these in the future.
Which is what them makes so interesting.
Pure reference of the recording equipment & set-up.
I would be interested, thanks.
Thank you for posting them!

I dont know if it will work if you're not a member. As you can read, they rack me over the coals pretty good.Pretty funny since this isnt a professional musicians website. Most of the recordings posted are your typical bar band/garage band/rock star wanna be types. The songs are usually boring covers of songs or original songs that sound like boring covers. From the sound and production quality I'd say they were made in some makeshift basement or garage recording studio. But to be fair there are some pleasant singing and there is some competent guitar playing on some of the songs.
...I would say you are probably speaking to the wrong audience, there.
To be honest, such sophomoric & uniformed responses prove only to show how uniformed & close-minded these poor folks are.
They probably think 'binaural' means a 'double shot of Jägermeister'.

its no big deal, in fact I got a kick out of some of the comments.Remember I've spent years as a tech and sound engineer so Im very familiar with these attitudes.I have plenty of over produced multitrack recordings that I can post there that will be right up their ally but I thought I would try something different,It obviously was too much for them.
