Loud screeching noise from a turntable??  That ain't right, & ain't a normal problem.  Did the stylus fall off?

(should have bought that Tannoy-Micro instead, right?)

I think it's sometihg with the motor maybe. It was making the noise with the platter off. It wasn't come from the speakers, but the TT itself. It went away. Hasn't been back, yet. 

If it does come back, and stays back, then I may regret not getting that TM lol.

Lube the main bearing, it probably needs it regardless.
