I recommend that you get the Harman-Kardon 3490 stereo receiver.

It is around $330 from Amazon and is a fantastic piece of equipment for the money.

It has 120 watts per channel and sounds much better than anything else I know of in an integrated amp or receiver for under $500.

It also has a built-in phono preamp, DAC, digital and analog inputs, and subwoofer outputs. You won't need to spend money on a separate phono preamp or DAC.

The turntable and speakers are good choices, and with the 3490 you will actually have a very nice system that anything will connect to, analog or digital.

At some point you can spend a lot more for some better speakers if you want, but there will be no need to upgrade anything else.

You can also save $100 by getting the Pro-Ject Essential from Needle Doctor for $299. It comes complete with an Ortophon 3E cartridge.
