microStreamer is a USB-connected and powered ultra high-performance dedicated amplifier/sound card designed to seamlessly interface with computers, tablets, smart-phones and directly decode the digital audio data stream from the host’s hard drive into analog music for headphone or speaker listening. The MicroStreamer might surprise its new owner with just how good it is. I found the sound to be a hair better than the Dragonfly and Audioengine D1.

I had the privelage to demo the HRT Music Streamer II at a local Head-Fi meet. I then bought a unit to use as a portable DAC for my laptop and have even bought a few as gifts for a family member or friend. Their products are amazing and I'm not the only one who can testify to this statement. I would love to own this product.

Hello all! If and when I have the good fortune to have this HRT Dac bequeathed to me, I shall express my sincere gratitude. I am close to completing my custom designed 'diy' 2-channel audiophile system comprised of mini-monitors(vifa-ne+accuton), hypex+mini- dsp based amplifiers, with my source unit being one of my raspberry pi's. The missing link is the DAC, and thus I have an aluminum enclosure ready to serve as the perfect home for the MicroStreamer!! Should I win, I will be happy to provide impressions.
