My Rega Brio-R amp has a "tape output." My question: can I capture that output via a PC sound card and create digital sound files? My preference would be 24/96 or higher, but the basic question is can it be done?
Thanks in advance.

The "Record Output" is for connection to any recordable device as its output is a "record signal" as selected by the main input selector 1 through 4. The record output is disabled when input 5 is selected. This output is not affected by the volume control.
Any suggestions as to a good PC sound card? I'm looking to create hi-res (prefer lossless) files. Also editing software, to add track divisions, etc.?
The Diamond Multimedia XS51 is a very good one.
MWAVE is currently selling it for less than $20, which is a steal.
