Funny though, I spent yesterday afternoon chastising my sister because I found she was listening to Pandora through the laptop sourced system I recently put together for her. She admitted that the 24/192 kHz flac version of Lee Morgan's Sidewinder playing at the time sounded great, but lossy compressed streaming must be like any other ugly addiction for those affected.
(I'm really not an audio snob, I just like to act like one, haha)

I do agree that high def flacs sound better, but for background listening the 192kbit MP3 (with Pandora One) is perfectly fine for me. It's also a great way to discover new music and not having to think about what exactly you want to listen to and add music to a playlist suits me ;)
