I assume that you have read the Stereophile review from 2003.

I personally think that the M3i is a good amplfier, and wonder if it is a lot better. It certainly has more power; nearly twice as much.

I wouldn't concern myself too much about the age of the unit; 10 years old is no big deal when good-quality components are used.

Since Musical Fidelity is still in business, replacement components are probably available, in any case.

If the price is right, why not?

Hello everyone, I am about to enter in the Hi-Fi world and while i was searching for an amp i found a brand new Musical Fidelity A3.2i in my local dealer. Its price is much lower than the M3 and i am wondering if i should buy it or not. As far as concern the characteristics of the amp it seems that these are much better than the M3's and also, after an audition i made, it sounds better (for my ears at least). What i am wondering is if the age of the amplifier can potentialy affect componets such as capacitors, or the amp's life in general Thank you for your answers
