I have never heard those EVO20 speakers, so I can't say anything about them.

Another very good speaker is the Monitor Audio Bronze BX-2, which you can get from Audio Advisor for $489 per pair.

They might even be better than the 10.2, but in any case they are both very good. Audio Advisor also gives you 30 days to return anything you don't like, so that helps out occasionally.

Another nice thing about the BX-2 is that it is front-ported, which makes the placement very non-critical relative to the rear wall.

Got some nice advice in here last week regarding speakers on a +/- $500 budget and for a small room. Slee ZZ recommended Mags and if I had the space, this is definitely how I'd go (had a pair 20-25 yrs ago). BUT MusicDirect has the Warfdale EVO2-20's for sale for $480/pr ($1200 list).  Should I jump?  Any other suggestions?
