to just put a small amount of dishwasing liquid in a clean sink and fill halfway up with water. careful to not let the labels get wet. then rinse off with water. maybe you should wait before doing this as those more experienced than me would have better ideas. although if you have hard water this might not be good.

I clean used and new records once before use and then use a carbon brush. Best $100 I've spent (Spin Clean and brush).

Thanks for the feedback. These forums are a great resource. 

 

Are stylus cleaners worthwhile? How about MoFi rice paper sleeves? I want to get all the cleaning/preservation products I need all at once.

i just use mobile fidelity original master sleeves. they are non scratching-anti static-archival quality. they run about 50 cents apiece. cheers and happy listening.
