I have the Music Hall MMF-2.2 turntable at one of my homes, and I am using the Musical Fidelity V-LPS phono preamp, which is very good. The old one I am using is no longer available, but they now have the V-LPS II , which is supposedly even better.
I think Needle Doctor has it for around $179.
