I really enjoyed Erick's review of the Atlas. His language was exact and purposeful. I see the value in this amp, and that is the characteristic I look for most in a component. His comparisons were valid and insightful as well. The last line was killer, too!
I have been thinking about replacing the KT90s with 120 on my Cronos Magnum too, did u have to take the top plate off...any way to keep the top plate and still have 120s?

The KT120 has a larger diameter tha the EL34, approximatekly 2". If the holes in your amp's top plate are too small, you should contact Rogue to see a replacement top plate is available and also to check that your amp can provide the necessary bias current.

Yes, you need a replacement top. Contact Rogue. I received one from the first batch the had produced. It costs me $150.
The holes are in the same spot, but bigger. Thay also sold me the KT120 tubes as well.
Sorry for the late response.
