which is the most important component to be grounded to the table. If there is no excessive hum when connected to your preamp, integrated amp or receiver there should be no problem. There could be an issue if using a different phono preamp. The lack of a ground is likely the result of the nature of this cheap turdtable.

Ground the arm "stub" and motor electronics through the neutral leg of the left interconnect, to ensure proper grounding to the preamp.  It's usually not a problem unless you have a wierd grounding scheme with the motor.  Some mods available for said tables like Linn, Rega, Project, etc., provide for a seperate chassis ground.

Turntables are wonderfully simple devices electrically.  I am always turned off by complicated tables.  Probably why I have a Rega.
