MBL's Corona Series

The 2011 RMAF saw the debut of MBL's new Corona series, all finished in gloss white. Playing Peter Gabriel's new CD of some of his songs abut accompanied by a orchestra, the C31 CD player ($9200) and C51 300Wpc integrated amplifier ($11,100) sounded open, spacious, and uncolored with the new MBL 116F "Radialstrahler" loudspeaker ($32,000/pair).

I love the look (and undoubtedly the build quality) of the new corona series. They are as much works of art as they are serious music making machinery. Simply Marvelous.

I spent almost a half hour in the sweet spot of this configuration. I listened to the new symphonic work by Peter Gabriel as well and sat in awe of the effortless wonder of the Corona components and MBL 116F speakers. One of the best sounding demo suites of this show!
