This probably won't be much help , but a fellow club member has the X12's in her second system . The X12's are directed by a Pass Labs XA30.5 . The sound is absolutely jaw dropping for such a little system or any system . There is likely more suitable matches monetarily , but this music maker has bragging rights .

The Jungson JA88D integrated amp yields 160 wpc of Class A power into 4 Ohms (552 euros or $1650 USD) and would control those X12s nicely.

Ok im going to look for the two amp you both suggested. But the Pass Labs XA30.5, i dont think i can afford that amount, the price is to high on my budget. I only have 1500 dollars for the amp. If there are more suggestions on this price range will appreciate it very much. Thank you for your kind help.

you would need a preamp at additional cost. The Jungson is an integrated amp which I think is what you are looking for as the Creek Destiny is also an integrated amp.  Where are you located which limits the availability of Creek equipment?

The NAD C375BEE integrated amp might also be an option. http://nadelectronics.com/reviews/Stereophile-Reviews-C375BEE-C565BEE

Im already looking at a NAD int. amp. which I think is one of the good option for the speakers. This is available here in the philippines. Although, the problem is that the NAD amps that they only have are the NAD 326 and 356, and not the 375 as what you have suggested. The 326 is a 50w/pc and 356 at 80wpc. If i chose the 50w pc, is that okay for that speakers? Although the difference is 30w that separates both of them. Can it drive the speakers well?

to get the most out of the X12.

How about further research into the Emotiva USP-1 preamp and UPA-2 power amp? Real overachievers.

I am currently using the NAD 356BEE, which is very good, driving my PSB Image T6 speakers.

I can recommend it as it gives me very good sound. I think it probably has the power you need (80W+)

I am currently thinking of upgrading to the Musical Fidelity M3i, however, which I suspect will give me a bit more resolution and detail. I guess I will get one from Audio Advisor to audition, and if it doesn't pan out they give you 30 days to return it without any cost except the return shipping, which is certainly fair.

The M3i is rated at 76W 8 ohms and 137W at 4 ohms (most speakers dip to 4 ohms somewhere in their power curve, so this is the most relevant number). I see that your speaker has a wide impedance variation, from 5 to 15 ohms, over the audio f range, so the 4 ohm rating of the amp IS what you should look at.

If the Musical Fidelity is in your price range ($1500 US here) you might check the MF website for dealers/distribution in your area; their website shows a distributor in Quezon City, who can certainly direct you to a local dealer.

Any thoughts on the x12s with a Mcintosh MC252?  I already have the amp from an old system and I'm looking at the X12s for a second room setup.  I'll probably use a Benchmark DAC1 HDR into the amp (with a PC USB connection as the ultimate source).  Thanks all.
