I'm not sure I'd say my review of the SCS4T was positive.  I certainly wouldn't call it 98% positive.

As always, listen for yourself and trust YOUR ears.

this only applies to my experience, but i have had a lot.  in my opinion, i have never heard a thiel where i liked the treble balance.  everyone has sounded too aggressive. the last time i was in my audio store, i listened to both the sc4 and the 3.7 and came away again with that same impression.  it's funny, but i actually want to love them because they are built very close to my home.  so, if you are sensitive to the presentation of high notes, you must hear them first.  with that said, this may be able to be toned down somewhat by choice of front end gear and cables, but the 3.7s were on one of simaudio's new integrated amps the 600i and in a huge room, but for me it did not help.  the dynaudios we listened to next sounded great in that room with that amp (to me and my friend).  packing and unpacking and shipping speakers is an onorous job, so even if you can demo them for free from c-field, if it is possible at all, you should hear them in a shop first.

best of luck and let us know how it goes.
