It sounds great to me, but that' relative to the "mid-fi" components I had before (Denon CD player, AudioSource amplification). The biggest changes for me were getting rid of the pre-amp/tuner (which was an old Mitsubishi), upgrading the amp, and adding the subwoofer (not pictured). Oh, and the SqueezeBox is awesome! It made listening to music so much more convenient and fun, that I had to upgrade everything else to see how good it could get.
