I remember Pat Paulson's skits on the Smothers Brothers shows when I was a kid.
At the rate were going, and considering the rising level of incompetence in the White House, Pat Paulson, if he were still alive, would probably beat Obama in the 2012 Presidential election.
My frustration is the fact that alot of Americans have become engrained in the democrat party just like an Aunt and Uncle of mine.
They have no clue what the democrat party has evolved into, and doesn't really seem to care. All they do is repeat the same old mantra the democrats said back in the 1930's. It's amost pathological.
They just can't see how the Republican Party is, and in most legislation, illustrate that they are the Democrat Party of the 30's, 40's, and 1950's. But most of the time it's to no avail.
That's a huge problem in this country. Party loyalty.
Remember John Hagelin? Owner and designer of Enlightened Audio Designs products? John ran on the Natural Law Party ticket back in 1996. Actually, he had a few good ideas. John has alot of Libertarian leanings.
If we can't get to Pat, I have a Pet Rock and will argue that even that is better than Obama. :)

President Obama announced his plan to cut government waste. I was hoping that meant he was going to resign ... no such luck.
Apparently the White House is creating the "Campaign to Cut Government Waste" , replete with a new oversight board.

I think the count was up to 15 before the commercial break. Interestingly, Obama is no longer saying "I will not rest." His new mantra is; "I will not accept"
Funny thing, whenever he uses the "I will not rest" phrase, he and Michelle always go on vacation somewhere on the taxpayers dime. At this point, his time spent vacationing probably has surpassed his time in the Oval office?
But nobody with any political intellect should be suprised. If you actually look at Obama's time actually spent in the Senate, you will see where the majority of his voting was done by proxy (no-show). Or a vote of 'present' (undecisive).
Did you hear about the restaurant named "Chets" in Toledo, Ohio that Obama spoke at in a recent speech?
Obama said, and took credit for the Chrysler bailout, saying the bailout kept Chets in business.
Guess what?
Chets Resturant CLOSED after 70 years of business the other day. Then there was the Caterpillar debacle.

Obama believes something becomes true, regardless of the facts, when he utters the idea....hence 'jobs created and saved' when an imaginary number is then assigned.
I think a lot of folks voted for Obama in 2008 because the idea of Sarah Palin being one McCain prime rib dinner away from the Oval Office scared the daylights out of them ... and it's hard to argue that. Hopefully, after 875 days under siege, the American voter has learned their collective lesson, although I have serious doubts. Additionally, considering what the list of candidates could look like come election day ... let us pray.
