the show was too short. he really got cooking towards the end. It was also nice to see that even EJ can make mistakes...
Great that you got to go to the show. Yeah, EJ's tone and delay can be much more appreciated in a live situation. I wonder was he still using the 70's Echoplex? I saw in an interview that he was trying out the Boss DD3 because the EP 3's were getting to be a hassle to maintain.
you are very right about this
i didn't realize how essential and integrated a delay pedal was to his sound.
it sounded like a DD3, but i can't confirm that.
