I use 'star grounding' and have been very happy with it.

It made an audible difference in low level noise.

What about listener grounding.

Is a single malt drinker more grounded than a pinot noir ?

What about floating the ground and which type of pot is best for that ?

I found that by attaching a extra ground to my TT plinth, I was able to reduce phono noise.So yes I have two phono grounds: one from the tonearm and the other from the plinth.

Floyd Toole said everything should be grounded to the preamp .
