I really like the boss and I have most of his studio albums. I do prefer the rock to the Woody Guthrie though. His politics are not my cup of tea, but the only people I judge by their politics are politicians. Honestly, I think Tom Petty is more derivative than Bruce. I like Tom Petty, but I do not see him as producing better work than Bruce. As for Bob Dylan, well, not even Bob Dylan is Bob Dylan anymore. 8)

I wasn't much of a Springsteen fan back when he was in his prime and so never bought any of his music. It wasn't until I started listening to his songs that never made it to radio that I began to dig his music. His "Loose Change" tune is one of my favorites.
