I listen to Martin Logan Quests. I like the big open soundstage.

PSB Stratus Gold's-the best value for top quality sound. Most everything else I've listened to(except Magnaplanars) is diminishing returns!

Snell Type E- IVs (prior to buy out) with a M&K 100 sub. The E - IVs have a wonderful upper and midrange and the M&K sub takes to bottom to a wonderful place.

Fried studio IV's Perhaps a lesser known and less touted speaker, yet has outperformed many other "famous" speakers I've auditioned head to head. I'm very pleased with the speakers and would recommend them easily to someone shopping in the $1-4,ooo range.

Snell -B Minors Powerful, great mid, airy and dynamic. A fine K.V. design.

I have a pair of old skool maggies. They are brilliant. Whenever I get the bug to upgrade to new speakers, I'll go listen to what is available and realise that nothing has the sense of the "real" that a pair of M's do. eventually I'll save up and grab a pair o' the top o' the line. A guy can dream.

I have a pair of Watt/Puppy V's. I have a large listening room with vaulted ceilings. They sound great. Don't know what this mid-bass "Blump" is about. Decided I would like to have that last half octave however. For that reason probably would have bought the Andras if they had been available at the time. Even though that last half octave is not available, the bass that is present is very good. My wife has wept listening to music through our system. How often does that happen?

I have Vienna Acoustic Bach for front speakers. The Bachs go pretty low even without a sub. I use them for audio as well. I have the Vienna Acoustic Haydn for rear speakers. I love the sound. I have ordered the Theatro speaker for center channel. I can't wait for it to get here.

I listen to Magneplanar MG-2.7's at home. I've always liked panel speakers because of their unique sound. I am saving for a new pair of Magneplanar 3.6's or Martin Logan CLSIIZ's.

Polk Audio LS-90s. The big strength of these speakers is their balance. They are not the best speakers in the world at any one thing, but they do everything very well.

I have a pair of PSB Stratus Silver speakers. They are a fine match with my room (just the right amount of low frequency response) and other components. Most importantly, they are a fine match to my musical tastes -- Chamber, choral, piano, and small group acoustic jazz. My wife likes them because I could get them in a finish that matched the furniture in the "listening room." I use Exposure loudspeaker cables with them, that I purchased when I bought my Exposure integrated amplifier.

Magnepan SMGa's. I have assembled a budget system on shoestring resources, and for the money spent, (and enjoyment derived)I couldn't have done better. I listen to Orchestral works, chamber music, and acoustic jazz. These inexpensive little gems produce sound that is open, natural, and very "right." I play in an orchestra for a living, and know what acoustic instruments should sound like. These speakers deliver as much of that sound as I can presently afford. If my budget ever allows, I'll be dropping my cash in White Bear Lake again.

I listen to Vandersteen 2Cs that are 1986 vintage. I bought them used in 1991 from a friend who upgraded to Mirage 3s. I've listened to other speakers but these are hard to beat without spending a lot more money.
