What features do you think are missing from high-end audio components?

Reader Mike Agee wonders why displays on disc players don't default to "time remaining" or why more power amps don't come with attenuators. What features do you think are missing from high-end audio components?

CD Text. More and more CDs use it and I find it very useful.

I'd like to purchase a universal player (CD, SACD, Blu-Ray, etc) that provides equalization in the digital domain. It should be able to save the EQ settings, as I want to be able to have a setting for listening to classical (with EQ to tame the room) and another for rock and jazz (same setting for classical but with the low bass goosed up a little). Now if someone would just make one.
