Especially my TBI subs.

I took a 3 1/2 year break from listening to music. I'd found myself listening for flaws instead of enjoying the experience. I vowed to not listen again until I was so desperate that anything would sound good. When I found myself listening to CDs through my DVD player on the TV speakers, I knew it was time! Now, everything is bliss!

At this point, I am quite pleased with my set-up. My next move though would be a true preamp. Trying to talk the wife into possibly a Rogue Metis. We will see what I can do.

While putting my system together, I was always buying and upgrading and swapping. My system has to do double duty as HT and music. Now that I have nothing to buy, I'm going through withdrawal. I want new cables, but I don't need new cables. I want new speakers but I don't need new speakers. The answer to my problem is that I'm starting to work on a two-channel music-only rig. I gotta buy stuff.

2 weeks ago went to the Salon de l'hifi de Paris and I've listened to the most famous hifi gear and today I can say that I'm very pleased with my audio system!

Krell driven, actively bi-amped B&W800's have been a joy for years!

It is a compromise from the state of the art but it works quite well.

Was never satisfied with my Thiel CS6 and Classe components until I finally got the speaker placement right. Now my system sings.

While constantly looking for improvements, which is half the fun, after all, the big challenge is determining what's simply different from actually better.
