I really need new speakers, both for my HT and office.

Tube monoblocks. I would like very much to become a Manley Labs or Quicksilver Audio customer. Had my picture taken with EveAnna Manley at HE2003—what a kick!

After visiting my local record shop last night, I'm so tempted to run out and buy an SACD player. As I perused the bins, lo and behold, I stumbled across hybrid after hybrid offering of the music I love. But wait, what do I do with the thousands of stereo CDs and vinyl I already own with the same musical material? There's always the used record and CD stores. Besides, I'm a two-channel guy. Should I spend a fortune to replace all my current gear to take advantage of that clear, dynamic, be-there SACD surround sound? But wait - the hybrid labels say nothing about two channel SACD mixes; they just talk about compatible stereo CD mixes. But wait - the SACD's are twice the price of their CD counterparts. Hmmm, maybe a new SACD player isn't such a hot idea after all...

I'm thinking it's time to replace my Cambridge Audio D500SE with a Rega Planet...I'm still waiting on my audiophile grade XM tuner...LOL

Both Pre-amp and power-amp blew up!

I am very happy with my current set up, but I may look for a pair of used Revel Studios or Watt Puppy 6 in the future.

I could've checked Pre-Amp as that is my "eternal" quest. But, for now, it is time to retire my old but great CD player. Really lookin' this time.

Made the leap to good AC cords, now an AC regenerator is next!

i would love to find a mint pair of kef 107's, snell type b minors, or b & w matrix 801 series 3's. i like the classic speakers! new ones just don't move me visually for some reason, too sterile or something!

I would like to have a tube multichannel but I think it would be to expensive. I already have B&k Ref50 Preamp and Proceed Amp5. I want to hookup my Turntable MusicHall mmf5. I need more inputs for DVD Audio Ref50 has only one, almost all inputs are use up and I got one component left which is spoken for already. A matter of fact I need another amplifier Amp5 it only has 5 channels and I have four more backsurround speaker to hook up which is now connected to a old 1980 Marrantz Receiver including my turntable. Cables is another story.

I definately have the upgrade bug. I'm wanting my system to lean more on the musical side and less on the home theater side, so I want to upgrade my front left and right. Looking at Energy Veritas 2.3 and B & W CDM 9NT

I'm auditioning a pair of Revel M20s. I'm not too far from owning my own pair.

I think I'm gonna try high-rez audio next. The machines are getting cheaper by the minute.

I recently upgraded my turntable. Now, I'm thinking about upgrading my phono preamp, but I'm in no real hurry to do this right away.

It seems that my cheapo receiver hardly has enuf power to drive my 5 bookshelf speakers...(86 db efficiency).. looking for an amp or high end receiver....

I just got a new pair of Dynaudio Contour S3.4's (they're amazing) and am now upgrading my entire system to match them, with a preamplifier currently the most needed. Next will come a turntable, and so forth.

My current itch is to upgrade my speakers. Monitor size - been looking at the new Dynaudio and Red Rose.

An active cross over.

Actually, I'm waiting for the industry to get their collective heads out of their hind parts, and start selling affordable receivers and preamps that can receive a high-rez, multichannel digital output from matching, affordable universal players. Also, I'm waiting for the recording company moguls to perform a similar bit of anatomical extraction and start releasing everything on hybrid SACD or DVD-A at prices no higher than those of CDs, which are already too expensive.

They are so hard to match!

I haven't tried the new high-rez digital yet and I am thinking about it. I wish there was a good player for all formats.
