Let's try giving the East Coast another shot.
Where would you like to see the next <I>Stereophile</I> HI-FI Show?
How about Dallas. Give folks in the South Central/Central part of the US an easy flight or drive to one of your great events. Dallas has the highest number of quality audio shops of any city in Texas and having the show in Dallas avoids requiring those on either coast having to go all the way to other coast to see an event in one of the cities you gave as specific options. Another plus for Dallas is that it is relatively close to Sante Fe. Craig Copeland the way to the other coast for a show in
New York (Manhattan) is always a sure bet for a successful show. Also consider the Washington, D.C. area--there are many large hotels with spacious rooms and convenient Metro (subway) access. If not downtown, Crystal City, for instance, would be an excellent location. Alex Fundock Edison, NJ
Honolulu, Hawaii. Seriously. There is now a new world-class convention center there, along with many nearby five-star hotels. Perfect weather year 'round, along with a lot of visitors from the continental US as well as affluent Asians. Sony has held annual consumer shows that have been very successful.
