Your processor has the ability to play music stored on a UPnP server over the network. Both the processor and media server need to be on a network. If your library is on a Windows box, you can simply turn on sharing in WMP and you're good go although there are much better servers available e.g. Asset. If you're running a Mac, there are also servers available for that platform.
For godknowswhatreason, Denon chose to limit the network playback capabilities to 48/24 for FLAC files. This of course eliminates playback of hi-res files stored on the network or USB. You shoulda bought the Integra ...

Thanks for your reply. In reviewing the website for Denon's preamp, it reads that it has "24-bit/192-kHz DACs
