Not as tasty as my Friday night
OK, are you guys just trying to be provocative?
How can you have such discerning ears, but undiscerning palates!?!?
Maybe y'all can wash that stuff down with some Riunite on ice. Served from a nice brown paper bag, of course.
Wine from a Kagaroo? That just seems wrong! They do make some good microphones from downunder.
Fidelitas 2006 Merlot.
Lareneta 2005 Merlot.
St Superys Moscato 2006
MD (mad dog) 20/20: "...a robust grape from the year 2010 with a full-bodied flavor and a kickass "bling bling" bouquet."

"I don't always drink wines, but when I do....oh, never mind. Buy it by the drum and save money.
My grandmother stayed loaded on Mogan David Wine. It came in a glass jug with a wide mouth lid.
I kept the bottle that was in her fridge when she passed on. They say passed on in East Texas.
God, I almost threw up when I saw that label. Fucking Mad Dog.
Check it out. Almost forgot about Thunderbird.

LMFAO!! Good ones Lamont. I was looking to post a pic of Red Dagger.. couldn't find a pic of a bottle.. that crap is so bad they must have banned it from the net.

At Safeway (grocery store) they always have a sale on Coppola's Cabernets or a nice La Crema Chardonnay. That's about as haut as I get anymore.
My most memorable wine was a 1971 Ridge Zin Late Harvest from the Occidental vineyard. (Very late harvest, 18 1/2% alcohol) A huge mo-fo. It was served with Peruvian flake and Thai stick dipped in honey oil. Good times...
We....my friend, could have definitely hung together.
...now I'm reminicing about those good times indeed

Hey guys! It doesn't count when you just find pics on the web! Anyone can do that... I wanna know that you have actually gulped them!
I don't keep empty bottles or labels. If I listed all the significant vintages I've enjoyed over the decades you'd turn green with envy. I was chef for some years at an up - market French resturant in Melbourne. The owner's brother was the president of the Champagne Academy in France. So, almost every week we'd receive free of charge air freighted 'sample' cases of European wines. My job first thing each morning was to wander into the cool room, choose two bottles of bubbly, open one for myself and take the other upstairs to the owner and place it on his bedside table. Returning to the kitchen I'd start my working day with 3 dozen oysters or something like an informal little crab& brie omelet. You get the idea.......
We also had a monthly booking when a group of wine importers booked out the entire restaurant. They'd fax us a list of the wines they were drinking and we'd structure a menu to match. Often when they departed, well and truly 'lubricated', they'd leave behind half bottles of the most astonishing stuff. I have fond memories of a Chateau d'Yquem 1942 amongst others - - - so , don't get me started.
Seems I already did! OMG, is all I can say
I sort of get it! Son #1 is a chef at a local bistro and has brought in a list of pairings for similar clients who have bought the restaurant for the night!! They send in a list of wines they plan to have available, now do your thing. Plus the owner has a relative who is a Calligrapher/Printer so the menus for the evening are topshelf to match!!
The wines ive posted(the serious ones, the Merlots, etc) and the joke ones...ive consumed them all
Don't doubt you. I was kinda joking
... and you remember the Ridge?
You guys are a bunch of Pansy's. I get that premium stuff in a box so I can recycle the package. Save the earth ya know!
Joe Darling, I'm very much a pansy and proud of it. However, I have nothing whatever to do with box's.
Like it was yesterday! While listening to Quad 57 ESLs. We were an indulgent little group back then.
I have to agree that Paul Draper makes some fabulous Zin's at Ridge. I was just impressed that, given all of the other party treats that you had, you were cognizant enough to even remember the vino.
not even this one?
and...AHEM
