Cool pics Duck! Thanks for sharing.

That Luxman PD 121 is one righteous Turntable and of course, the DM2/7's are a killer pair of monitors. Very nice stuff!

Everything is great and I love the Thule gear, but most of all, I love the TT. Very nice. Great monitors with a great sub...the perfect combo.

Better upgrade the security system. Photo cells at the front and back door to an enless loop casette of some very large barking dogs.

Thanks

I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment house (block of flats) in a good, quiet neighbourhood with very little theft going on, so I believe I am on the safe side. Thanks for caring

Edit: By the way, I just ordered new $400 Audio Note interconnects for the TT last week. I can't wait to hear what they can do for my Luxman!

How does the head wear on top your speakers affect the soundwaves?

Impressive! I'm not familiar with the sub. More info, please.

The hats are there to hide metal discs weighing 13 pounds each. Hats are prettier than metal discs.

The sub is a Swedish Audio Pro, the company who invented Ace Bass. The Ego Sub sports two 6

I might add that my DVD/CD player Thule Audio DVA150b is not only fully balanced like the amplifier, but has a built in Digit II upsample board, that upsamples 16/44 to 24/192, and which at the manufacturer was measured to a S/N ratio at least -115 dB down. This is something you can hear as a relaxed, warm but still very clear and detailed reproduction.

I have always found Luxman gear to inspire great lust in me. Something about it just gets where I live. congratulations on the system, I look forward to hearing how the cables sound.

Quite a nice arrangement.
The only gear that I have, and am not too embarassed to mention, are a Luxman T-02 tuner and K-117 tape deck. It's time to upgrade my system.

Cables have arrived!

Audio Note AN-C interconnect with Audio Note AN-P silver plated RCA connectors and a SME female DIN socket:

Right out of the box there's improvement all over the frequenzy range. The bass is deeper, the mids and especially the treble are MUCH sweeter and clearer, and I have a clearer "view" into the soundstage. Drums, cymbals, percussion, voices, horns, piano's, violins, guitars etc. - they all sounds SO much better now. A less closed and more natural sound is what I like, and now I've got it!

The connectors and sockets have gone up in price, so it's basically a 575$ cable I got for 400$. Great deal!

Edit:

These cables get still better! The treble and midrange are as sweet as can be, and I hear details I never heard before. I just love the way cymbals sound, and drums and guitars and voices and...

I have become a devote of Transparent cable..Being a very modestly funded audiophile I find the value for dollar of their entry priced stuff to be very good, better than the other cables I have tried. I also like basic PS Audio power cables.

According to the word, they are both great cables, but I have not heard any of them.
