There's some similarity to my clock. Mine displays time that is always in the future.
2:11 is always in the future.
Well, some of the time, anyway. The rest of the time it's in the past.
I wonder what that is, seriously
My guess is something superstitious.
Can you think of any time when 2:11 has not been in the future?
Sure, 2:11 AM and 2:11 PM today are in the past. Ditto yesterday at 2:11 AM and 2:11 PM. And the day before yesterday, etc. They were in the future at some point in time, but that time has passed.
I guess some people just live in the past.
Those who can't remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
