Hello, I did not mean for you to recommend an AVR - just caught my mistake, I am interested in an integrated amp that will work with the new Oppo BDP 83 Special Edition geared towards audiophiles. Please help me out if you know what I am trying to do. All my HDMI from video sources will be run direct into the TV.
When putting together a system I'd recommend picking (though not purchasing) a set of speakers first. Then from there looking for amplification that's appropriate to run those speakers. When you know that the speakers you want AND the amplification necessary to run them appropriately are within the budget then it's an good time to think about making a purchase. If you have great difficulty finding amplification that runs the speakers well that's a sign that too much money has been allocated towards speakers and not enough towards the amplification.
Hey!
Happy Birthday!
How was your celebration?
I never replied because I have no clue as to answering the question, but I do wish a felicitious fiftieth!
If I may....you can get perfectly great cinema from two channel. How about a discussion on adding video to a great two channel set up?
