There are way to many applications that don't or won't work with Vista. That's why I've stuck with XP. I'm waiting for Windows 7.

I wrote my own database using MS Access. It has served me quite well although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles something like Songbird has. I expect it to work with Windows 7 as it is running on MS Access.

That's what I'm reminded of when I see "foobar". That's probably why I've been using songbird. It's from the same open source as Open Office. I switched to Open Office from MS Office. The only part of MS Office I still use is Access. I'll be dropping that as soon as I get around to writing a DB in Open Office.

im a vet too..but we didnt use that acronym much.

Well, I do use Songbird although it doesn't currently use ASIO. I got out of the service in 1970. Those old acronyms were still in use back then.
