I have to agree. It's helping all the car manufacturers, even the ones the government owns, in short term. What about the next business cycle? And the next? BTW, I'm not going to take advantage of this opportunity. I don't want to be saddled with a monthly car payment. They're giving away cars in the same manner they gave away houses. That's the ticket. I'll wait for the repos to hit the lots and look for a good cash deal. I would bet a lot of these cars are going to end up with low mileage as repos. The dealers are going to be so strapped for cash it will be a monster buyers' market. I'll wait for the inevitable fall out. Time to stop spending and save up for one these cars. "What's good for the company is good for everybody".
